CASH in hand to take home or spend at the sale!
A professional jeweler with 30+ years of experience will be evaluating the
gold brought. The price of gold is at historic heights! Bring your old,
tangled necklaces, banged up bracelets, mismatched or broken earrings, or

CLOTHING
ITEMS ARE LIMITED TO 150 PIECES PER CONSIGNOR
The 150 pieces of clothing do not
include shoes, socks, or bibs. A 2- or 3-piece set such as a shirt and shorts
grouped as a set on one hanger counts as one piece. Of the 150 pieces, up to 20
can be size 0 – 6mos. We are typically over-run with these sizes and have had
many complaints from shoppers that these sizes contain duplicate outfits. A
group of onesies pinned together counts as one piece and will count towards the
limit for 0 – 6 months.
NEW PUBLIC SALE SCHEDULE
The public sale will now run Thursday through Saturday with Saturday being
the half-price day. Please see the Home page for a complete schedule of
events.
WE NO LONGER ACCEPT VHS
TAPES
But we love DVDs!
YOUR HUSBAND CAN WORK VOLUNTEER SHIFTS FOR YOU!
We always need some muscle before, during, and after
the sale! You can sign your husband up for ANY shift, but there are 2 shifts
(one before the sale and one at the end) that only husbands can sign up for.
These special shifts will entail assembling/disassembling racks.
BRING A BROWN PAPER BAG
If you would like your items
returned to you at the end of the sale, please bring a brown grocery bag
when you come to your drop off appointment. Use a magic marker to
write your consignor number large on both sides. This will be used to
collect your unsold items after the sale.
WE'VE MOVED!
We are still at the Morocco Shrine
Center, but we've moved into the LARGE 24,000 square foot auditorium in
the front of the building. Shopping is much more fun with all of
this room!
We've added 80
more hanging sections for easier shopping!
THE FLORIDA
HIGHWAY PATROL WILL BE AT THE SALE FRIDAY FROM 9AM - NOON
Dawn Tomlinson and her crew will be in the front
parking lot conducting car seat safety checks. Thanks, Dawn, for keeping our
kids safe!
DROP OFF/PICK UP
Drop off and Pick up will be done
through the FRONT doors since we have moved into the auditorium.

CONSUMER PROTECTION SAFETY
INFORMATION ACT
and
HOW IT IMPACTS OUR SALE:
The Consumer Protection
Safety Information Act (CPSIA) is a new law effective February 10, 2009 that
is designed to remove children’s items that contain an unsafe amount of
lead. This law affects businesses and individuals that are selling and even
donating items designed for children age 12 and under. This applies to ANY
item including but not limited to toys, clothing, jewelry, furniture and
even books. The Consumer Protection Safety Commission (CPSC) came out with
a clarification of the law which releases consignment stores from having to
test EACH item for lead. However, we are all still accountable if we are
found selling unsafe items. SO WHAT CAN WE DO? We are going to make every
effort to ensure all items for sale are not on the recall list put out by
the CPSC, the governing agency in these issues. We are requiring EVERY
consignor to check ALL of their items against the CPSC recall list. They
are not to bring any items found on this list. Finders Keepers is a strong
advocate for children’s safety and we are going to do everything in our
power to make sure we are in compliance with these new regulations.
